ESPN SportsNation to broadcast from Academy

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- ESPN's SportsNation, with hosts Charissa Thompson and Marcellus Wiley, is coming to the Air Force Academy Thursday, Nov. 8, from 3 to 4 p.m. MT.

The show will broadcast live on the Terrazzo, near Mitchell Hall and Spirit Hill. Cadets, permanent party and staff with proxy cards are permitted to watch the broadcast on the Terrazzo and show their fanatical institutional pride by bringing signs and wearing their Air Force Falcons gear.

Visitors and others may catch a glimpse of the show from the Cadet Chapel wall, and are also encouraged to bring signs and show their support for the Air Force Academy.

Tentatively scheduled is a flyover, the Wings of Blue demo team, the Falcons Cheerleaders, AFA's very own Blue Steel rock band, "The BIRD", a performance by the USAFA Drum & Bugle Corps, and the Falconry program.

SportsNation is broadcast on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN News and is a fan forum and poll selection show. Due to security concerns, only proxy card holders will be allowed on the Terrazzo to view the show up close.
